But hold onto your hats, folks, because the real excitement starts when we fire up Arizona's one and only ten-stamp ore crushing mill! Those massive 1,000 lb stamps come crashing down in perfect harmony, turning rough ore into precious gravel. Can you believe it? This historic stamp mill was hauled all the way from the Golden Reef Mine, just 5 miles away!
But that's not all! Prepare to be swept off your feet with tales from the Cave Creek Mining District's golden era. Ever heard of an arrastre? It's a primitive ore crusher powered by nothing but muscle and grit! And when the old mine blows its top, you'll feel the thrill right down to your boots!
Then, it's full steam ahead to the Golden Reef Stamp Mill and Tramway, where our top-notch "Dream Team" brings history to life. Hear the roar of engines as the stamp mill roars back to life, echoing through the mountains just like in the old days. And watch in awe as the tramway hauls ore up the mountain slopes!
But wait, there's more! Step into the Blacksmith Shop and witness the artistry of a true craftsman. Back in the day, these folks could fashion anything from parts to tools right on the spot!
